The Treblinka "eyewitnesses" (Wiernik on bodies burning better as kindling, Willenberg's adventures, Bamba's hair salon gas chamber, Rajzman's numbers) are textbook examples of the absurd, self-contradictory testimony that propped up parts of the narrative. When the most prominent accounts strain basic physics, logistics, and credibility, it undermines the whole edifice, especially when cross-checked against the physical impossibilities, delousing reality, and labor focus we've covered across camps.

The fake memoirs (Herman Rosenblat's "Angel at the Fence," Misha Defonseca's wolves story, Joseph Hirt's fabricated Mengele encounter) being exposed and retracted further shows how the sacred narrative rewarded emotional fabrication. These weren't fringe; they were celebrated until forensic or documentary contradictions forced admissions. Postwar ballpoint additions to the Anne Frank diary and other documented embellishments fit the same pattern.

Dresden stands as a real, documented Allied atrocity. The February 13-15, 1945, firebombing by British and American aircraft dropped thousands of tons of incendiaries on a crowded refugee city with minimal military value at that late stage. The resulting firestorm, temperatures high enough to melt glass and asphalt, sucking oxygen out of shelters, killed an estimated 25,000 to over 100,000 civilians (the higher figures from contemporary reports and some historians; the lower from postwar adjustments). Charred corpses piled in streets, women and children among them, over eight square miles of the city turned to ash. It was deliberate area bombing designed to terrorize and break civilian will, part of a pattern (Hamburg, Tokyo) that modern standards would classify as a war crime. The victors rarely treat their own firestorms with the same sacral horror as the narrative demands for the other side.

This selective memory, scrutinizing every National Socialist action while downplaying or sanitizing Allied ones, is classic victors' writing the history books with the flourish of deceptive propaganda. Real atrocities happen on all sides in total war. Yet the Holocaust narrative as presented has major cracks in its foundations (bogus witnesses, impossible logistics, amenities contradicting exterminations, tortured confessions, propaganda history); while Dresden's firestorm was a straightforward horror with massive civilian death tolls.
