But all the grills are different.
They have to find you interesting, needs something that makes you unique, but not too weird. You could be into things they don't understand as long as you can sell it in a way that doesn't make them feel... I dunno.
Confident helps, but some grills are motherly and like the (seemingly) shy ones. But this all depends how they perceive you, like 99% of them judge very hastily.
They are also extremely rarely direct and won't tell you what they actually think
they are like Englishmen.
As for the looks. A professor of mine once said: a woman has to be beautiful, but for men, it's enough if they are just a bit nicer than the devil.

The music and everysthing else can be genuine interest, or most commonly just a passing one they claim interest in because they have interest in a specific dude who has genuine interest in this.
I really don't know. People wrote volumes about this topic, almost all useless. From what I know people are just let themselves get into relationships. Both men and women. And there are some who manipulates others into one.
