No idea. It could help to identity it, to find out which language is being used, and then what are the words used. Once a piece of the text sung is clear, that can be searched.
I didn't watch the whole documentary, what was it talking about at that point? That could help narrow it down too.

Monks on the isle of Iona and the Iona Abbey. I was thinking it might be gaelic but I could not find any chants similar on the tube. The book shown is the book of kells. The chanting goes on (with a few comments intermitten) until about 22:40.

Appreciate your help anon!

Some documentaries include the titles of the music used in the rolling titles at the end. (though that may be limited to copyrighted material, which monastic chants should not be)
Currently the Iona Abbey is controlled by a pseudo-communist universalist collective.

Some chants from various monastic orders:
Benedictine Monks Singing Choir
chants: Salve festa dies, Quem vidistis pastores, Genuit puerpera regem, Angelus ad pastores ait, Facta est cum angelo, Parvulus filius, Hodie nobis caelorum Rex, Ave Regina coelorum, Regina Coeli, Angelus autem Domini

I was checking the rolling titles as well as various infos about this episode but could not find any information unfortunatly. When I watched that particaluar segment, the music just moved me on a very deep level. Hence why I would like to find out which chant it is.

It's unfortunate to hear that the Abbey is in such a state..

But again, I appreciate your help, and will give all your links an indepth listen.

Latin:
Anima Christi, sanctifica me.
Corpus Christi, salva me.
Sanguis Christi, inebria me.
Aqua lateris Christi, lava me.
Passio Christi, conforta me.
O bone Jesu, exaudi me.
Intra vulnera tua absconde me.
Ne permittas me separari a Te.
Ab hoste maligno defende me.
In hora mortis meae voca me,
Et jube me venire ad Te,
Ut cum Sanctis tuis laudem Te
In saecula saeculorum.
Amen.
English:
Soul of Christ, sanctify me,
Body of Christ, save me.
Blood of Christ, enfervor me,
Water of Christ's ribs, wash me.
Passion of Christ, strengthen me.
O good Jesus, fulfill me.
In Your wounds, hide me.
Do not allow me to be separated from You.
From the evil enemy defend me.
In the hour of my death call me,
And command me to come to Thee,
For with Thy saints praise Thee,
For centuries and centuries.
Amen.

Tu Scendi Dalle Stelle (You Descend from the Stars)
https://youtube.com/watch?v=fd2SKxUs2gM [Embed]

You Descend from the Stars, O King of Heaven,
And come to a cave, in the cold and frost,
And come to a cave, in the cold and frost.
O my divine Child,
I see thee here trembling;
O blessed God!
O how much did it cost thee, to have loved me!
O how much did it cost thee, to have loved me!

To thee, who art of the world, the Creator,
lack cloths and fire, O my Lord,
lack cloths and fire, O my Lord.
Dear chosen, little child,
How much this poverty
The more it enamors me,
Since love made thee, poor still,
Since love made thee, poor still.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tu_scendi_dalle_stelle
The chant was composed by a bishop of the area of Naples, in December 1754.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alphonsus_Liguori
I've retranslated it to follow more closely the original text.

В темную нічку (Спи, Ісусе) (EN: In the Dark Night)
https://youtube.com/watch?v=2h5YBrcbEHY [Embed]

Translated text of the chant:

In the dark night, above Bethlehem,
a bright star shined out, covering the Holy Land.
The Most Pure Virgin, the Holy Bride,
in a poor cave gave birth to a Son.
[Chorus] Sleep Jesus, sleep my little baby,
Sleep my little star,
About your fate, my little sweet,
To you I will sing.
She gently kissed and swaddled him,
She put him to bed, and quietly started to sing,
You will grow up, my Son, you’ll become a grown-up,
And you will go out into the world, my baby.
Sleep Jesus, sleep my sweet little baby,
Sleep my little star,
About your fate, my little sweet,
To you I will sing.
The Love of the Lord and God’s truth,
You will bring faith to the world, to your people,
The truth will live on, the shackles of sin will be shattered,
[But my child], on Golgotha, my child will die.
Sleep Jesus, sleep my sweet little baby,
Sleep my little star,
About your fate, my little sweet,
To you I will sing.
Sleep, Jesus, sleep my sweet little baby,
Sleep my rose blossom,
With hope on You
The entire world is watching!

Passa questo mondo (EN: This world passes away )
https://youtube.com/watch?v=rg6U7jMTkg0 [Embed]

We proclaim the eternal word:
God is love.
This is the voice that has crossed the ages:
God is charity.

This world passes away,
the ages pass away,
only those who love
will never pass away.

God is light and in him there is no night:
God is love.
We walk along his path:
God is charity.

We love each other because he loves us:
God is love.
He first gave us life:
God is charity.

Strong young people, you have overcome evil:
God is love.
In you dwells the eternal word:
God is charity.
