Not enough cable tension on the front derailleur (cable too loose) — the derailleur may not be fully pulled inward; add a bit of tension at the pinch bolt or via the barrel adjuster.

there is this one tiny screw (not limit screw) that you screw in so a tiny bolt pushes against either a tiny plate or simply the derailleur mounting point (on my frames thats enough) and that changes this very angle, once you have it the way you want you you tighten the FD down and it won't move anymore while you do that.

yeah honestly setting up a di2 fd is in essence identical to a mechanical fd, instead of limit screws you have micro adjusting with the shifter and while you have no cable tension to worry about you have way more micro adjusting to do to get the fd position correct for all scenarios
setting up the mechanical grx fd was quicker than setting up the di2 fd on my road bike, not like either is hard or time consuming

Like the problem brtek has with the support screw is something you align first in the manual but if you limit screws are fucked up beforehand you're never going to get it aligned properly anymore without getting those in order first.

there's some new-ish groupset from TRP that integrates the classified hub with some shimano style shifters and derailleur, it basically gives you 1x16 or so with a 12 speed cassette
but again the efficiency loss is too great, if you paypig expensive gear you want to tryhard for speed and losing a bunch of watts anytime you're riding a gradient over 5% defies all reason

It's hands down the worst tactics I have ever seen in a race. He gifted a grand tour win to Yates for no gain other than pushing Carapaz from 2nd to 3rd place and those two didn't have any bad blood prior to the race. And then he even had the audacity to be mad at Carapaz after the race.

You sometimes hear crazy stories about underhanded tactics in the old days but this was literally pure self-sabotage with no possible positive outcome for him. At least it was fun to watch and talk about. It will forever live rent free in my head.
