There is no barely no second-hand market here. This country is small, has a low population and has an even smaller population that is reading manga in Japanese and of those probably an even smaller subset that are selling their stuff and of THOSE, even fewer that are selling the stuff I was looking for
You can see how it quickly becomes impossible to find stuff second hand. Buying new also has a very limited selection of the stuff they have in Japanese (let alone in Swehongo, it's very limited there too)
Plus, to get even more technical, the store-sale price influences the price that second-hand sellers put their stock at. If the entire Berserk series costs 250 euro here, a second-hand would probably go for like 150 whileas I could probably get it new for cheaper from overseas
