Not understanding why Harris isn't getting ANY questions on her $50,000 tax credit for starting a business. She's said this numerous times, and says currently there's a 5.000 rebate or grant (can't remember exactly)and then says you can't start a business on that.
Well, duh. You're not going to get a tax credit unless you spent 50,000, and that will be deducted from your taxes. Except you have to have somehow secured the money in order to spend it in the first place. Is she helping with that?
She proposes this when asked what she plans to do to help people in this economy. So in her eyes, are we all supposed to go out and start businesses?

it looks like Harris is appealing to a specific audience that is emotionally based. so her responses are not for people who think 1+1=2 it's for people who think how does 1+1 feel about being 2. She is capable of being relatively articulate which shows how calculated her responses are.
Trump knows this and targeted her base in their debate. he relied on emotion rather than details because this audience won't respond to reason - his goal is to win over the most votes so he is constantly targeting different audiences.
It's interesting that for his loyal supporters he posted a few memes. He didn't have to do all he does to get to a rally and all the risk that entails...he just sort of tipped his hat and we got it.

Exploding Pagers Sound Global Alarm for Supply-Chain Security

Thousands of pagers and other devices exploding in Lebanon this week mark a new and deadly escalation in the use of supply chains against adversaries, giving new urgency to global leaders’ drive to reduce their dependence on technologies from rivals.
Lebanese officials believe the gadgets were rigged with explosives as part of an elaborate attack allegedly by Israel on Hezbollah, penetrating the Iran-backed group’s procurement chain with links from Taiwan to Hungary.
While booby-trapped devices have been used in spycraft for years, the scale and violence of the attacks in Lebanon - which killed at least 37 people, including two children, and injured about 2,300 more - alarmed even some seasoned officials. They fear the globalized supply chains that help produce cheap goods and power global growth could become weapons in the hands of foreign adversaries.
“When you depend on other nations for key inputs or technology you give them a back door into everything you do,” said Melanie Hart, who until recently was a senior State Department official responsible for these issues and now is at the Atlantic Council. “This is a demonstration of what it looks like to weaponize that dependence.”
US officials have long acknowledged that the US is too dependent on China for a variety of goods and services and in recent years the government has begun seeking to move some vital supply chains, especially those that touch on national security, to the US, a process known as on-shoring, or moving them to friendly countries, known as friend-shoring.
“If Israel can do this, China can do it too,” said US Representative Seth Moulton. “Long, opaque supply chains leave gaps that can too easily be exploited, and we need a strategy for closing them in close collaboration with our allies.”
A former senior US intelligence official described the Lebanese blasts as just the latest and most dramatic of a number of supply-chain attacks underway around the world at the moment. They often take years to prepare and tend to be narrowly targeted to limit collateral damage, the official said, asking not to be identified to discuss matters that aren’t public. Interdiction operations - where goods are intercepted and tampered with before delivery to their ultimate recipient - are rampant, the former official said.

The California Highway Patrol issued a 5-hour closure for the northbound lanes of the CA-241 Freeway.

Media: 1.6 million Euros passed through Bulgaria to finance Pagers

Bulgaria’s bTV announced that 1.6 million euros linked to the deadly pager explosions in Lebanon passed through Bulgaria and were transferred to Hungary.
TV refers to sources in the state agency for national security, Israeli media reports the agency’s reports.
The Bulgarian authorities announced that the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Security Service have launched an investigation into possible links to that transaction by an unnamed company.
Local media reported that Sofia-based Norta Global Ltd facilitated the sale of pagers to Lebanon’s Hezbollah.
On Wednesday, 25 people were killed and more than 600 injured in pager explosions.
A day earlier, 12 were killed and more than 2,800 people were wounded in explosions of cell phones belonging to Hezbollah members in places considered to be strongholds of the pro-Iranian Shiite Hezbollah, Beta writes.
