9 Reasons Why Gold Will Soon Replace Treasuries As The Ultimate Store-Of-Value Asset

In the age of fiat currency, the distinct concepts of saving and investing have become conflated and confused.

Saving is producing more than you consume and then setting it the difference aside. Investing is allocating capital to a productive business to create more wealth. Investing has more risk — and potential reward — than saving.

Today, however, what most people think of as saving is actually investing. That’s because most people take the excess of their production over consumption and put it into the stock or bond market.

Most people understand that it’s not optimal to simply hold fiat currency, which the central banks continuously debase. So they put their money into other assets, primarily bonds and stocks.

In other words, fiat currency and inflation have ruined saving for most people. It has forced them further down the risk curve into stocks, bonds, and other investments in a struggle to maintain their purchasing power.

However, there is no guarantee those investments will even keep up with inflation. But suppose they do. They will then be subject to a capital gains tax, even if it’s only a nominal gain, not a real one.

That means savers face the daunting task of not only keeping up with inflation but also outpacing the capital gains tax on the nominal gain just to maintain their purchasing power. This reeks of a central banking ponzi scheme that will only benefit central planners in government, and central bankers, long term.

Before the era of easy-to-produce fiat currency, people could simply save in money, which was either gold or a derivation of it. There was no need for a dentist, construction worker, or taxi driver also to become a hedge fund manager to try to keep their head above water.

50 years ago, the market cap of all the gold in the world was roughly equal to the market cap of all the stocks in the world. Today, the market cap of gold is about 10% of the world’s equities. It’s an indication of how capital that used to be allocated to saving in gold became allocated to the stock market instead.

Bonds in general and Treasuries in particular, became the “go-to” savings vehicles to store wealth in the fiat era. However, I think that will change soon as bonds will be incapable of storing value in the face of financial repression.

Gold has been mankind’s most enduring store-of-value asset because of its unique characteristics. Gold is durable, divisible, consistent, convenient, scarce, and most importantly, the “hardest” of all physical commodities. Gold is the one physical commodity that is the “hardest to produce” (relative to existing stockpiles) and, therefore, the most resistant to debasement.

Gold is indestructible, and its stockpiles have built up over thousands of years. That’s a big reason why the new annual gold supply growth — typically 1% to 2% per year — is insignificant. In other words, nobody can arbitrarily inflate the supply. That makes gold an excellent store of value and gives the yellow metal its superior monetary properties.

From a historical point of view, using government bonds as a savings vehicle is a relatively new concept. As it fades, I expect people will rediscover the world’s premier store-of-value asset: gold.

It’s no coincidence that the worst year ever for US Treasuries also saw the highest central bank gold buying spree in over 55 years.

So far this year, central banks have bought about 25% of worldwide gold production.

China is one of the biggest gold buyers.

China has dumped over 25% of its massive stash of Treasuries since 2021. At the same time, China has bought vast amounts of gold — five million ounces since last November, or nearly $10 billion.

Central banks and governments are the largest individual holders of gold in the world.

Together they own over 1.1 billion troy ounces of gold out of the 6.8 billion ounces humans have mined over thousands of years.

And those are just the official numbers that governments report. The actual gold holdings could be much higher because governments are often opaque about their gold, which they consider a crucial part of their economic security.

Russia and China — the US’ top geopolitical rivals — have been the biggest gold buyers over the last two decades.

It’s no secret that China has been stashing away as much gold as possible for many years.

As the trend of financial repression unfolds, I expect central banks to accelerate their Treasury sales and gold purchases.

Here is the investment thesis for gold:

Observation #1: The US government can’t repay its debt. Default is inevitable.

Observation #2: It will not be an explicit default.

Observation #3: The debt will continue to grow at an accelerating pace.

Observation #4: Foreigners are not buying as many Treasuries.

Observation #5: The US government cannot allow interest rates to rise much further.

Observation #6: The Federal Reserve is the only big buyer of Treasuries stepping up, which means currency debasement.

Observation #7: The US government will use financial repression to debase the currency in a controlled fashion, though it could spiral into out-of-control inflation.

Observation #8: Treasuries will no longer be the “go-to” store-of-value asset as people look for alternatives.

Observation #9: Gold is the top store-of-value alternative to Treasuries. As demand for Treasuries falls, demand for gold will soar.

In short, we are on the verge of a paradigm shift in international finance as gold replaces Treasuries as the world’s premier store-of-value asset.

The last time the international monetary system experienced a paradigm shift of this magnitude was in 1971. Then, gold skyrocketed from $35 per ounce to $850 in 1980 — a gain of over 2,300% or more than 24x.

I expect the percentage rise in the price of gold to be at least as significant as it was during the last paradigm shift.

The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation is issuing a warning about a radical animal rights ballot initiative effort underway in Oregon that would make it illegal to hunt, fish, trap and would subsequently frustrate and annul proven, scientific wildlife management, including the North American Wildlife Conservation Model.
Initiative Petition 3 (IP3) criminalizes injuring or intentionally killing animals, including utilizing breeding practices and raising/killing livestock for food. Originally intended for Oregon’s November 2022 election, proponents regrouped and filed a ballot initiative for the 2024 November general election. To qualify, they must deliver 112,020 signatures for verification to the Oregon secretary of state by July 8, 2024.
Proponents claimed they passed the 30,000-signature mark in mid-July. They received a recent influx of $110,000 in campaign donations allowing them to pay signature gatherers. Campaign finance reports show the financial backers are Owen Gunden ($50,000), a philanthropist seeking “ambitious animal rights,” the Karuna Foundation in Colorado ($50,000) and Friends of DxE ($10,000), a network of “activists working to achieve revolutionary social and political change for animals.”
If passed, the initiative would severely hamstring the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife in carrying out its mission to protect and enhance the state’s fish and wildlife and their habitats. Approximately 40 percent of ODFW’s budget is generated from hunting and fishing licenses and fees which are used to manage all wildlife species, not just those that are hunted. Fish populations would also be drastically impacted since the $203 million ODFW spends on fisheries and fish hatcheries would be cut off.
Proponents also ignore the importance of conservation funding generated by hunters. Federal excise taxes on guns, ammunition, archery equipment via the Pittman-Robertson Act generated more than $16 billion since its inception in 1937. A 2023 report also shines a spotlight on crucial conservation and economic funding generated by the firearm and ammunition industry. Combined with Dingell-Johnson Act excise taxes on fishing gear, that funding is returned to states, including Oregon, for various conservation, recreation and public access projects.

Additionally, banning hunting and fishing would severely limit or stop those traditions from being passed on to the next generation, thus removing vital revenue that would be generated by future generations of hunters and anglers.
Criminalizing hunting and fishing would have a detrimental, even catastrophic impact on Oregon’s economy. According to an ODFW report, hunters, anglers and wildlife watchers in Oregon spent $1.2 billion in 2019, which directly supported more than 11,000 jobs at motels, gas stations, shops, restaurants and other locally owned Oregon businesses. In addition, those activities generated $385 million in labor income and $51 million in state and local taxes.
Another great concern is food security. IP3 would remove the opportunity for sportsmen and women to maintain their own food security by outlawing the procurement of elk, deer, fish and other wildlife through hunting, fishing and trapping. In fact, it would force them to be dependent on others to provide meals for their families. Proponents state such on their website: “Oregon is a top-ranking producer of many field and seed crops, fruits, nuts, and vegetables. Within the state of Oregon we have ample food, as well as the resources needed to distribute that food to every citizen.”
IP3 would also prohibit ranchers from raising cattle and other livestock with the intent of breeding them and/or going to market to supply meat to fellow Americans. Instead, proponents “encourage ranchers to transition to an alternative agriculture practice” or “help operate an animal sanctuary.”
The initiative would also force the Future Farmers of America, 4-H and similar organizations as well as rodeos to “adapt” their programs and procedures to be in compliance or they too would be criminalized.
IP3 states “there would not be a cultural or religious exemption” for Native Americans to exercise hunting and fishing rights. It also bans using animals in a lab setting for furthering medical and disease research.
While IP3 is a ballot initiative focused on Oregon, proponents have their sights set on a much larger landscape. They plan on targeting hunting, fishing, farming and other mentioned activities nationwide across America: “Once successful in Oregon, we hope to bring similar initiatives to every state until the killing of animals is against the law nationwide.”

The assessment shall identify, to the maximum extent ascertainable, the nature of any foreign interference and any methods employed to execute it, the persons involved, and the foreign government or governments that authorized, directed, sponsored, or supported it. The Director of National Intelligence shall deliver this assessment and appropriate supporting information to the President, the Secretary of State, the Secretary of the Treasury, the Secretary of Defense, the Attorney General, and the Secretary of Homeland Security.

Cops Arrest Teens For Reading Bible Outside Drag Queen Event For Children

As if Americans have not suffered enough from an oppressive third world totalitarian regime who is destroying the American economy, banning the sale of all basic appliances, weaponizing the Justice system to attack the First Amendment of the US Constitution, allowing illegals with polio and tuberculosis into the United States to spread deadly disease, ordering social media companies to censor their users for dissent, bullying business owners for defending their right to stop looting and theft in their stores, bringing the US into the brink of an unwanted highly dangerous and unpopular world war, now teenagers are being arrested for reading the Holy Bible! If there was any indication that our country is doomed to become a failed communist third world despotic state, this may be the nail in the coffin that proves it once and for all.

Four young Christians were arrested Saturday in Watertown, Wisconsin while they were preaching the gospel at a public drag queen show focusing on sexually abusing children.

A video of the arrest of one young man, Marcus Schroeder, was posted and shared on various social media platforms. The one-minute and 29-second video clip shows several police officers approaching Schroeder as he is standing on a public sidewalk outside the event reading the Bible over a loudspeaker. One of the officers, who has sergeant stripes on his sleeves, suddenly grabs the microphone away from him. As he questions what they are doing, the officers inform Schroeder he is being arrested for violating a sound ordinance about noise amplification.

Then the video shows three officers grabbing the young man and leading him away in handcuffs. Another young man, Nick Proell, was detained and removed from the park but was later released with a warning, according to The Republic Sentinel.

Jason Storms, who took the video and shared it on Twitter, is the minister of evangelism at Mercy Seat Christian Church in Brookfield, Wisconsin. In a post to the church's Facebook page Wednesday, he said his daughter was among the four who were arrested.

"A bunch of people from our church joined with other Christians (about 100 of us in all) to minister to those attending a drag queen show for children in Watertown, Wisconsin," Storms said. "Rather than arrest those sexualizing children - the police arrested four Christians exercising their First Amendment rights including my daughter and one of my sons-in-law."

"It was open to the public, thus the public's right to free speech carries with them. One was arrested later in the day for preaching on the public sidewalk outside the venue and is being charged with unlawful use of sound amplification and resisting arrest," he said.

Storms also claimed several police officers were present at the park to provide security for the drag queen show, in which performers dressed in lingerie were seen "dancing and gyrating in front of little children, who were invited to give them one dollar bills."

According to Wisconsin law, causing a child under the age of 13 to view or listen to sexual activity is a Class F felony.

If the child has not attained the age of 18, it is viewed as a Class H felony.

Good! Kenya Refuses To Be Data Harvesting Guinea Pigs To Globalist WorldCoin ID Mark of the Beast

The Kenyan Ministry of the Interior last week suspended the controversial tech firm WorldCoin and any similar entities from operating in the country.

Co-founded by OpenAI's Sam Altman, WorldCoin offers free crypto tokens worth roughly $50 to people willing to have their eyeballs scanned by a device called the Orb.

"Relevant security, financial services and data protection agencies have commenced inquiries and investigations to establish the authenticity and legality of the aforesaid activities, the safety and protection of the data being harvested, and how the harvesters intend to use the data," reads a statement from the Ministry issued last week.

Kenyan Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua was enraged over the technology, saying in a statement: "Let us support the stoppage of Kenyans being used as guinea pigs and their data being harvested.

"You have to ask yourself why your eyes are being scanned and information gathered. What does it mean and what will it mean to you and your offspring?"

Another CS, Kithure Kindiki, assured citizens that the government would undertake all measures to ensure public safety and the integrity of financial transactions involving so many citizens.

That said, WorldCoin technically hasn't broken any Kenyan laws - which, we imagine, is one of the reasons it was rolled out there.

In response to the ban, WorldCoin co-founder Alex Blania claimed that the company's intentions are above board.

"Tools for Humanity (TFH) has paused World ID verifications in Kenya as we continue to work with local regulators to address their questions. We apologise to everyone in Kenya for the delay," he stated.

Worldcoin's stated purpose is to build a global identification system using iris scans, which can prove that a person is human (albiet there are non-invasive captchas that still do that too!). The company argues that in the future, when Artificial Intelligence (AI) is 'fully functional,' it will be difficult to determine whether a subject is human or machine.

ALMOST UNWATCHABLE: Kennedy Will Not Stop Listing Reversals Of Judicial Nom's Decisions To Her Face

At today's Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) grilled Judge Karoline Mehalchick, nominee to be United States District Judge for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, about the several reversals of her decisions.

Even the freaking PROSECUTORS that told the court the Trump J6 case needed to be sealed because A FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES WAS A 'FLIGHT RISK' later admitted THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE MADE THIS CLAIM.

But strangely enough, they didn't make this admission until AFTER Judge Howell had sealed the case.

So we've already forgotten about the suspicious death of Obama's chef??

Where is the security footage?? The police claim he was found in 8 feet of water but the avg depth of the lake he was found in is only 3-4 feet deep???

Why wasn't he wearing the safety strap that comes with every paddle board?

Why did the police ask for a toxicology report when they already determined it wasn't suspicious and that the cause of death was drowning? That makes no sense.

Why did it take the police 14 hours to find his body after the 911 call was made since they knew the exact location??

Where were Obama's secret service agents?

Why did the Obama's LIE and state they weren't home at the time of his death?

Why was the description of the 911 call left blank on their log sheet? Every single 911 call is logged for that day except that one.

Why are police hiding the identity of the 2nd paddle boarder and the 911 caller? Why are they hiding the recorded radio traffic?

In fact why are they hiding so much if his death according to police was "not suspicious"??

Finally, why was Barack seen playing golf only 3 days after the incident with a bruised knee, black eye and bandages around his hand?? Sure seems like he was in some sort of a struggle???
