Please remove rule three for free speech's sake, because this site is so close to matching the old 8chan (more than any other site I have seen so far), but that is some rulecucking. If there is a practical or technical limitation reason it must be a global rule rather than a board rule (such as making it harder to find illegal posts in the catty), let me know, but I would prefer we leave it up to board owners and at most reword it to "no flooding or spamming on multiple boards that do not allow it". I am also a bit paranoid because both 8chans globally permabanned me for "spamming" when I did not even do anything that major.

Yes. The board became claimable and after a while I decided to claim it so it won't get vandalized. From 2024 Dec to 2025 March the site was attacked by a flood, many boards. Apparently I did not notice what happened on /lv/ I assume there are some other boards with shit on it still, thanks for letting us know.
I'd transfer it, but in need of proofs, if you are whomster you say you are, you ought to know how to give that.

Occasionally some genius has the idea to make a board and embed a file hosted at his 3rd party server to 'harvest' the IPs of those who open that board and loads the custom css. It is generally not a problem but every once in a while such malicious actor appears. We did work on the content security policy (csp) to prevent these forms of attacks, but there were some issues, and no pressing demand, so the matter got postponed a bit.
Now we're re enabling CSP, and this might break things on site. We'll see how it goes.
Here's an example of this. The user also goes by the Delastelle username, he uses it on other platforms as well.

Something unusual happened on a thread with an attached ID number — something I’ve never seen before. (Given the content, it’s easy to guess which board this bait came from.) Strangely, no ban message appeared embedded in their post, even after attempting to ban them twice. Naturally, Tor produces this result when there are no IDs, but I’ve never encountered it on a post with an ID before. I have no explanation for why this occurred. As it is an anomaly I have never seen since 2017, I thought I should bring the matter to /operate/'s attention.

I understand the issue, I've never seen it either.
I don't know if we can reproduce it - so we can test it and fix it. If it is random occurrence it seems to be very rare.
If you came across it again, let us know first and leave the post up, Odili is needed to check the ban output and see what doesn't work. After you can delete it ofc.

I'm seeing a bug in the login form.
The message says the login was ok, but then no login session is created, and the login is asked again, and again.
It's basically impossible to login currently.

Could you verify if it's an error isolated to my account or if it happens for everyone else?

- nickname and password are correct
- get login ok message
- no login happens
- it's impossible to manage boards like this
