this is one thing i like about having little cards (or textfiles) for each idea because that way, when the distraction comes, it is easy to pick up and continue what i was doing before when the distraction is finally gone.

and besides that, just the creative process is likely to branch of into distraction anyways, so it is not even just the external distraction that is trying to become an obstacle but also the internal distractions.

i still like the cards, problems like distraction, mind wandering, trying to bite off more then i am able to chew, or just the slight loss of concentration ability from enjoying a small dose of the good hemp are enough to fall of the wagon i have noticed.

but if there is literally a small little physical representation placed in front of me with a pen where i am keeping notes on (the card), there is no chance i go on a tangent so far that i don't come back to what i am doing before.

the physical representation aspect, being physically present as opposed to being a digital txt file, turns the distribution of attention in order to manifesting goals into a ritual i am participating in. this kind of helps anchoring the concentration.

i think the fundamental difficulty i am trying to address with all my manifestation research and experiments is this: i notice i get ideas on what stuff i want to do NEVER WHEN I HAVE THE TIME to do them but always when i am the most busy with other stuff and when i don't have time to jump to it. if i am to do it, i have to do it later and in order to do it later i have to find a way to re-find it after i have forgotten it.

when i don't write the idea down it will just drown in the stream of thoughts, emotions and events, maybe emerge once or twice but ultimately end up forgotten. also there is the inevitability of my gridlocking every system i have ever built. no matter what it is, i will fill whatever system up with ideas so hard that the entire system becomes clogged. i reached the amount of cards where i am discouraged from doing anything because the size of the cardstack became too intimidating. THIS HAS HAPPENED MANY TIMES BEFORE. i always scale up the system when this happens...

i am getting better though, i can tell. i am preparing for travel and i used checklists like this

So I'm about to be laid off soon due to my workplace shutting down and I have a few different things I'm working on. I'm a burger so I'm currently trying to get the
>OSHA 10-Hour General Industry
and

certifications/training. Will hopefully open some doors for interesting blue collar work since I'm not too crazy about sitting on my ass in an office all day around overly sensitive, boring fags like I am right now.
I currently have the Security+ and want to get the CCNA. I'll be honest, IT work is FUCKING SHIT, but I'm good at computer and want to have moar options. If I learn C/C++ I could perhaps get a hybrid blue collar/development job, maybe something like Robotics, Industrial Computer Design/Programming, Backbone/Cell Site Technician, Etc.

The beginning of this year sucked for me, tons of shit went wrong, I had unexpected expenses but I've been working to fix the mess and currently paying debts off and back on the right track. I also replaced an old defective laptop, salvaged the RAM and harddrive and now using Linux for it which is working great!

Back in the day when you would have to register an email address many people would use empty disposable email accounts (not tied to anything) to register with a service and that usually worked. Then the feds and corp spooks got involved and now mandate you ID with your phone so it's harder to spoof or deceptively bypass. This is one reason I won't use most social media today. I'd imagine you could so some research and there are probably online tools to spoof a phone number and authentication text message but I am not familiar with that. I kinda just gave up over the years and will only post on free image boards and decentralized p2p networks these days.

I would think somewhere you could find software that would auto-generate a fake phone number for you to use in able to "authenticate" or register to third party services. Ask the hackers out there.

I've never bothered doing this because I really hate mainstream corporate platforms. I'd also recommend digging for software that can do the same right on your own PC or laptop. Hope this helps you out in the age of constant surveillance.
