The reason I liked canned foods btw, is they are great for long term storage plus rodents and bugs cannot get into canned foods. They're also very easy to stack and rotate. It looks as if China quietly realized capitalism actually works far better than communism but they are too ashamed to admit their folly so they just continue calling themselves communists to prevent political humiliation while preserving their dignity adopting free market capitalism. I visit China on occasion. Huge country of course, so it's hard to generalize, just like we have beautiful well-off areas in the US but also total drugged out shitholes. China doesn't have a drug problem but there are definite areas of poverty. That's what the media usually shows. But in general, China has been based for the past 25 years or so. It's actually free in ways we are not, which is both good and bad.

However, look into what home "ownership" means in China. It is not for life.
